Google reCaptcha

    Our Google reCaptcha integration helps you to protect your mailing list signup forms from list bombing and other types of spam signups.

    Setting up the integration

    1. Sign up for an account with Google reCaptcha.
    2. Register a new site in Google reCaptcha. Give it a descriptive label, choose "Score based (v3)" as reCaptcha type, and add your website's domain as well as forms.userlist.com to the list of domains.
    3. Head over to your Integrations directory inside Userlist, and look for the reCaptcha integration.
    4. Click "Add reCaptcha" and copy over both the "Site Key" and "Secret Key" from your reCaptcha site and save the integration in Userlist.

    Setting up the form

    1. Head over to the form you want to protect with reCaptcha and choose the "Protection" tab.
    2. Pick reCaptcha from the list of available CAPTCHA providers and save your choice.
    3. If you're using an embedded version of your form, head over to the "Embed" tab and copy the adjusted HTML code.
    4. (Optional) Adjust the implementation of reCaptcha to your liking by following reCaptcha's documentation
