    Our hCaptcha integration helps you to protect your mailing list signup forms from list bombing and other types of spam signups.

    Setting up the integration

    1. Sign up for an account with hCaptcha. Unless you have specific requirements, their Basic (Free) plan is sufficient.
    2. Create a new site in hCaptcha. Give it a descriptive name and add your website's domain as well as forms.userlist.com to the list of domains. You can leave all other settings alone or customize them to your liking.
    3. Copy the Sitekey for your newly created site.
    4. Head over to your Integrations directory inside Userlist, and look for the hCaptcha integration.
    5. Click on "Add hCaptcha" and enter the Sitekey.
    6. Back in hCaptcha generate an "Account-level secret" in your personal settings.
    7. Copy the secret into the integration in Userlist and save it.

    Setting up the form

    1. Head over to the form you want to protect with hCaptcha and choose the "Protection" tab.
    2. Pick hCaptcha from the list of available CAPTCHA providers and save your choice.
    3. If you're using an embedded version of your form, head over to the "Embed" tab and copy the adjusted HTML code.
    4. (Optional) Adjust the implementation of hCaptcha to your liking by following hCaptcha's documentation
