We first published our email planning worksheets about a year ago. Since then, we’ve had dozens of strategy calls and demos which helped shape the new version. Here’s what we improved:
- Shortened the tracking part (events & properties) to help you avoid “analysis paralysis.”
- Added segment examples.
- Added a new section for snippets (reusable parts like intros and signatures).
- Added a few brainstorming questions in the beginning, which help understand your customer lifecycle better.
- Added a list of resources that you may be offering to your users (as they play a key role in planning your messages).
