Meet InvoiceSherpa, an invoice reminder tool that helps companies optimize their cash flow. As part of a done-for-you project, we used our Atomic Emails method to plan, write, and set up their user onboarding campaign. In this case study you’ll hear how we built a campaign around the assets they’d already invested in: their video library.

The problem: great content, not enough reach

InvoiceSherpa had already done the hard work of producing high-quality educational videos. The opportunity was to get that content in front of new users at exactly the moment it would help them most, and to do it in a way that signaled the quality and care behind the product.

The solution: a video-led onboarding campaign

We built a classic user onboarding campaign where the videos do the heavy lifting. Each email leads with the most relevant video, while help docs serve as a secondary call to action for users who prefer to read. Because each email stays “atomic” (one idea, one clear action), users always know what to watch and why.

What’s inside the campaign

  • A warm welcome email focused on their getting-started video
  • Two emails focused on their main integration feature
  • A list of their most popular videos from the library
  • An email featuring two short customer case studies
  • An email on best practices: “your perfect reminder flow”

The campaign also raises the perceived value of the product. One email promotes automated recurring payments, a feature that takes InvoiceSherpa to the next level: a user who originally signed up just to send invoice reminders comes away realizing they’re getting a whole billing platform.
