Now Hiring: Customer Support Manager at Userlist

Jane Portman
Jane Portman

Userlist an email automation platform for SaaS companies. We need help with customer support: someone to run our support inbox and help customers troubleshoot technical issues.

This is a part-time contractor position (20 hours/week).

Update: we have closed the applications to focus on the existing candidates.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the support inbox 5 days a week
  • Troubleshooting technical issues with integrations and workflows (working with our technical team for bigger issues)
  • Following SOPs around payments, discounts, cancellations, etc
  • Keeping an eye on the documentation and making suggestions

If you have other talents, we’re happy to discuss other ways to get involved within your working hours. However, these are the core activities we need help with.

Key skills

  • Solid understanding of the software industry
  • Solid technical skills (not necessarily an engineer, though)
  • Friendly, concise manner of writing
  • Native-level fluency in English, both written and spoken

This is a part-time contractor position (20 hours/week).

The schedule is flexible. We'd like you to check the support inbox 2-3 times a day, but you can distribute the rest of the work as you feel necessary. We’re a very “calm” team, and we handle most things asynchronously.

The team is 100% remote. Jane and Benedikt, who will be working with you most closely, are in the European timezone. Most of the customers are based in the US.

  • 100% remote work environment
  • Flexible hours
  • 4 weeks of paid vacation per year
  • Monthly virtual hangouts with the team
  • Team-first, calm working environment

Why you should choose Userlist

Dozens of other companies are competing with us for your time and skills. Why should you choose Userlist over another company?

Userlist is a growing company founded by two industry experts — Jane Portman and Benedikt Deicke. We're committed to building the best email marketing platform for SaaS companies, while our competitors are spreading themselves thin between different industries.

We hold strong technical and ethical opinions, as well as high design standards, so you'll be proud of the product you're working on.

You will learn a lot, and work in the heart of the email marketing ecosystem.

How to apply

Update: we have closed the applications to focus on the existing candidates.
